Glen Heather- President
Glenn’s positive attitude and calm demeanor make him a key member of the executive. He enjoys pursuing big game and likes nothing better than to share elk or moose camp with family and friends each fall.
Colin Jackson - Vice President
Colin has held several executive positions and is returning to the fold as Vice President. Colin is a blast to share moose camp with and he’s no stranger to success as this big bull proves.
Glen Szondi - Treasurer
Glen takes care of the finances for the club, he is semi – retired and hopes to “get work out of the way” to enjoy the fall pursuing game like the Saskatchewan buck he’s pictured with here. Glen is also an avid sheep hunter and enjoys ascending the mountains in hopes of finding the perfect ram.
Deb Kopp - Secretary
Deb is a long time member of the club and over the years has held several positions in the executive. She has just taken on the role of secretary where her organizational skills are put good use.
Scott Johnson - Past President
Scott is an avid hunter and angler and enjoys adventures like the muzzle loader caribou hunt he had in the NWT. He also enjoys traditional archery but mostly enjoys taking his young daughters fishing. He appreciates all the hard work members do and hopes to help put on more informational and fun club functions.
Stu Heather- Membership Chair
Stu has taken on the task of the membership chair with great zeal. His efforts have resulted in all the great discounts we as members can enjoy at local businesses. Stu enjoys ice fishing and as the picture of the huge pike proves he’s more than comfortable on the hard water.
Trevor Copeland – Sportsman Day Chair
Trevor has taken on the task of coordinating the annual Sportsman Day. When it comes to late October more often than not Trevor can be found chasing roosters with friends and his faithful sidekick Chester. Trevor and Chester are pictured here with a great bird taken this past fall.
Joel Nicholson – Habitat Chair
Joel is our resident biologist and when not working for wildlife or looking at possible WTF properties can be found enjoying time at the family cabin in Manitoba or pursuing birds with his dogs. Joel also enjoy hunting big game and recently competed in the National Elk Calling Championship, he’s passed his knack of elk calling on to his young son Jarret who competed at the event at the Sportsman Day at the amazing age of 6!
Steve Phaff – Bird Game Chair
Steve is responsible for the spring and fall pheasant releases and is knowledgeable in all areas of waterfowl and upland birds. He also takes an active role in other club activities most recently heading the initiative to restore Cavan Lake to a viable trout fishery. As you can see from this picture Steve clearly knows a thing or two about trout!.
Tyler Heather – Fish Chair
Tyler is one of the younger members of our group and his youth and enthusiasm is a welcome addition to our group. Tyler has jumped in with both feet and has been elected the fish chair for the upcoming term. As you can see by the picture Tyler is no stranger to big fish!
Darryl Marcocchio – Big Game Chair
Darryl is our newly elected big game chair and enjoys perusing all kinds of big game with both rifle and bow. Darryl is pictured with a bow killed spring bear from a few years back.
